This is a gift for someone that has it all or for someone who needs it all! A lottery wreath is the perfect DIY gift for Christmas, birthday, graduation, or for someone hard to shop for. Plus, it is a handmade gift, which makes it even more special.
What is so cool about this gift is you can spend the amount of money your budget can afford. I found this DIY originally on Pinterest and thought it was the perfect gift for my mom this year for Christmas. I collected lottery tickets for about a month before I assembled it. Every time I went to the grocery store or gas station, I would buy five to twenty dollars worth of tickets, depending on how much cash I had at hand.
After I collected all my lottery tickets, I went to Walmart and bought a wreath. This is where your creativity comes in on how you want to form your lottery tickets into a wreath. You can get any wreath, even the foam ones, and use little push pins to hold your tickets onto the wreath. I bought my wreath with leaves on it and used glue dots to assemble my lottery wreath. I stuck the glue dots on the leaves and the back of the tickets. However, if you use glue dots, play it safe and only put the glue dot on the back of the tickets to secure them.
I also got little decorative clothing pins to help keep everything in place, which helps not overuse the glue dots. Then add a ribbon to decorate. This project is so simple to make. I think it is such a cool gift to give. Who knows, your handmade gift could make someone a millionaire!
It is a Jackpot of a gift!
